Dear esteemed MFC members,
For your information, on April 18, 2024 MFC have a courtesy meeting with the Minister of Plantation and Commodities, YB Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani and a number of issues were raised.
Regarding the issue of foreign workers, YB Minister has requested for solid data to be provided in order for him to discuss with the Cabinet before any decisions can be made.
Among the data requested are such as:
1) The current amount of manpower available in the company;
2) The number of foreign workers needed by the applicant;
3) Audit Report for Year 2023
Interested applicants can fill up this survey by May 17, 2024.
Please be reminded that data collected on this survey will be presented to the Ministry for further action and will be treated as private and confidential.
IMPORTANT!!
After filing up this Google Form, respondents are also required to produce a separate letter (with the company letterhead) to the Minister of Plantation and Commodities (MPC) regarding their respective request. (Template Attached)
The letter should also contain the information provided in this Survey Form for the recording purposes by the Ministry. Please find the attached template letter for your further action.
Upon completion, please email the letter to MFC Secretariat at council14@mfc.my for compilation and submission to the Ministry on your behalf.

家具业劳工事宜调查问卷 (2024 年 4 月)
诚致全体 MFC 会员：
谨此通知，马来西亚家具总会于 2024 年 4 月 18 日与种植及原产部部长 YB Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani 进行礼节性会谈，共同商讨了一些与行业相关的课题。
关于外籍劳工课题，部长要求业者提供可靠且正确的数据，以便他在做出任何决定之前在内阁提出讨论。
所要求提呈的数据，包括：
1）公司目前可用的人力数量；
2）公司目前急需的外籍劳工数量；
3) 2023年审计报告
恳请所有业者在 2024 年 5 月 17 日 前填写此调查问卷。
本次调查收集的数据将提交给种植及原产业部以采取进一步行动，并将被视为私人和机密档案。
备注：提交此线上表格后，参与公司还需要向种植及原产业部 (MPC) 提交一独立信函（带有公司信头），说明其各自的要求。该信函包含本调查表中提供的信息，以供部门审核。随函附上信函模式供参考
