For your information, we have already received the latest news that the United States Department of Commerce has decided to initiate a nationwide enquiry since June 6, 2022 to determine does Malaysian wooden cabinets and vanities and components (WCV) play a role in circumventing AD/ CVD duties imposed on WCV from China.
According to the press release by the DOC, it intends to release a questionnaire for Malaysian producers and exporters to seek for the necessary information.
Hence, if any industry players have receive the questionnaire or other enquiries from the US government, PLEASE RENDER YOUR COOPERATION by ANSWERING THE QUESTIONNAIRE OR THEIR ENQUIRIES.
This is to ensure the Malaysian furniture industry does not suffer from another Mattress 2.0 AD fiasco which will only cause a mutual loss for all.

谨此通知，秘书处接获 MITI 转发的最新消息，美国商务部已决定从 2022 年 6 月 6 日起对马来西亚展开全国性规避调查 ，以确认马来西亚木制橱柜和盥洗台及组件是否涉及中国厂商规避美国征收的反倾销和反补贴税。
根据美国商务部发布的新闻稿，商务部将向马来西亚制造商和出口商发出调查问卷，以收集相关资料。
因此，如果业者收到来自美国政府的调查问卷或询问， 请务必做出反应，回答相关调查和询问 。
这是为了防止马来西亚床垫反倾销的事情再次发生，导致各方的损失。
