Attending an ‘Industry Dialogue’ with the Minister of MITI this afternoon. MFC President, Desmond Tan has voiced out the impact and consequences towards the furniture industry regarding America’s 24% Tariff on Malaysian products.
YB Minister mentioned MITI is extremely concerned and take note on this issue. The ministry will gather more information from the furniture industry prior his visit to USA.
