MATRADE has announced several new initiatives of its Market Development Grant (MDG) incentive programme slated to begin on July 15, 2021 (Thursday) with the intention to assists SMEs in soldiering through the Covid-19 pandemic.
Among the new initiatives covered are:
1) Compensation of the cancellation or postponement of trade fair/ exhibition locally or overseas;
2) Reimbursement of logistic cost for exporting Malaysian products;
3) International Certification for Exports;
4) Intellectual Property (IP) registration for the international market; and
5) Expenses for advertising and promotion for exports including on digital platforms
Registration for these five new initiatives will open from July 15, 2021 – January 22, 2022.
All activities undertaken from January 1, 2021 – July 14, 2021 are required to be completed by or before August 12, 2021 (Thursday).
All activities undertaken from July 15, 2021 onwards have to be within 30 days of the commencement date of the activity.

市场开发援助金（MDG）新项目
谨此通知，马来西亚对外贸易发展局（MATRADE）宣布将于 2021年7月15日（星期四）起启动市场开发援助金计划（MDG） 的几项新项目，旨在帮助中小型企业应对新冠疫情。
新项目包括:
1) 因本地或海外展销会 / 展览取消或延期而造成的赔偿；
2) 出口马来西亚产品的物流费用报销；
3) 出口产品国际认证；
4) 国际市场知识产权注册；
5) 包括数码平台在内的产品出口广告推广费用。
这五个新项目的申请将从 2021 年 7 月 15 日起开始至 2022 年 1 月 22 日结束 。
所有从 2021 年 1 月 1 日至 2021 年 7 月 14 日进行的活动必须在 2021 年 8 月 12 日（星期四）前提交申请。
而从 2021 年 7 月 15 日起的所有活动必须在活动开始后 30 天内提交申请。
